PRODUCERS SURVEY 2017

Presented here are results of the survey of commercial film producers’ activity for 2017. The KPR membership of seven experienced production houses provided an opportunity to take a closer look at the production market and to attempt to answer basic questions relating to their activity. The studied production houses are significant players shaping the Polish market of advertising production. This unique study sample allows for the results to be applied to the remainder of the market.

The objective of the study was a presentation of the image of the Polish market of commercial films and a recognition of basic outlined trends. Aspects which the study was to clarify are related to the market size, effectiveness of producers in tenders, contractor structure, and production size.

PRODUCERS SURVEY 2018

Presented here are results of the survey of commercial film producers’ activity for 2018. For the second time, the KPR membership of seven experienced production houses provided an opportunity to take a closer look at the production market and to attempt to answer basic questions relating to their activity. Because studio representatives delivered data regarding the same aspects as for the previous year, this year’s report presents the trends which are being clearly outlined on the market. This year, included in the survey were 11 non-associated production houses, which supplemented the image and enabled a more complex data analysis. The results of the survey, based on such an extensive sample, present a convincing image of the entire Polish commercial production market.

Aspects which the survey sheds light on relate to the market size, effectiveness of producers in tenders, contractor structure, and size of executed productions.

PRODUCERS SURVEY 2019/2020

Presented here is the report discussing results of the producers’ activity survey for January – December of the past year – in comparison to those of previous years. The basic study objective is the delivery of data for credible analyses relating to the commercial production market in Poland, whereas the objective of the report is the analysis of this data and indication of trends in film production as appearing on the market of marketing communication.

 

This year’s survey covered three aspects: the scale of production activity, the effectiveness of production purchase and process methods, as well as cooperation models between producers and directors, as contributors of creative input decisive of the final form of the film.

 

As every year, the survey encompassed all studios associated by KPR and a range of independent studios. Participating this year were 19 production houses, providing anonymous numeric data relating to 2943 tenders and 1001 executed productions. Such a database enables a credible analysis of trends relating to the entire commercial production sector.
